Stephen shared this video with me the other day when I was having a hard time. It is so beautiful and it definitely made me cry. What a wonderful opportunity we women have to be mothers. I can't wait!!!

New Chapter
Well, it's now August and it's been a little more than 7
months since I posted anything. WAY too long! Quit a few changes since then.... BIG changes.... I'm 7 months pregnant. Fun thing is, I was technically pregnant when I posted last. I just don't think that I knew yet. Good thing we chose the more spacious car. We are having a precious little girl due September 16. She is right on track with her weight and her measurements and we are both healthy and well. She moves around a ton as well. Most of the time its in the most inconvenient times. But I guess I should get used to this since I am about to embark on this new journey of being a mother. I'm pretty nervous, quit anxious, but even more excited! I just hope that I can be the mother that my little girl needs. She is one lucky girl though to have the wonderful dad that she has. I already know that Stephen is going to be the best dad for her. He is so wonderful and I know that she will just love him. I really think that she will probably be a daddy's girl. She even looks like him a little already according to the 3D ultrasound that we did. She has his nose and the same cute little chubby cheeks he had when he was little. Also, I had a baby shower last weekend and was able to get together with many of my girls I used to work with!! It was a blast to see them all again! They are all so fun and supportive. Love those girls!
Well, we're right in the midst of the time period where Stephen is in Arizona and I am in Utah. It's been hard, especially because I am getting so big, but soon enough we will be able to finally be together again. I am taking 9 credits right now which is as many as you are allowed to take in the Summer term and I am working 24 hours a week. That equals a pretty heft load and not much time to study. The good thing about it, though, is that it keeps me from becoming too lonely without Stephen. The weekends are the worst though! I miss him every minute of every day but it makes it a lot easier when I know I will see him at the end of each day. Now it's just talking on the phone or facetime. I am so grateful for these devices but they will never be as good as saying nothing and having him hold me in his arms. As you can tell, this is the first time since we even started dating that we have had to be away from each other longer than a week. So let's just say we aren't used to it and aren't very good at it :)
I am so excited to start this new chapter in our lives together. I am so proud of Stephen and all his accomplishments. This is going to be a hard next couple of years but I know that because we have each other we will be able to conquer whatever comes our way!

The wait is over!
Well last month we found out some really wonderful news. We found out that Stephen was accepted into dental school at AT Still University in Mesa Arizona!!! YAY! That was our first choice. He applied to 14 different schools. Two of them invited him to an interview back in October, AT Still and Marquette which is in Wisconsin. Now the difference between those two is pretty much night and day. I absolutely hate being cold! And when Stephen got back from both of those interviews he was disappointed and didn't want to tell me that he felt really good about the interview in Wisconsin and felt like the one in Arizona did not go very well. He was disappointed and felt bad telling me because he knew that I wanted to be in Arizona. Well, thank goodness for the tender mercies of the Lord because Stephen was accepted into Arizona. I couldn't be more excited! He starts July 12 which complicates things a little but I know we can make it work. I have a few more semesters left to take to finish my major. I'm taking 16 credits right now and I will take a few classes in the Summer. That's where it gets complicated. My semester starts June 24 and goes until the middle of August. I'm going to have to stay here and finish while he starts there. It won't be too bad though. It's only going to be 6 weeks. It's so important to me that I graduate and attain my degree. IT WILL HAPPEN! :)
Some other fun news, Stephen and I went and bought our first car together. It was a great experience and I love the car that we chose. We got a car that would be a little more family friendly since we will probably keep this new car for a while. New meaning new to us; we didn't buy a brand new one. Ha! But it's great! It's a fun red and I just love it.
Well, I can't wait to move out of this cold!!! It's been freezing the last month or so and right now I have a nasty cold. I've been coughing a lot and every time I go outside it just burns my lungs with the sting of cold. I know the Summers in Arizona will probably be miserable but I would take the hot over this freezing cold any day. I lived in Texas and in Southern California for the last 6 years of my life. I need the sun!!! I need the warmth!!!
Anyway, I guess the wait really is not over yet but the wait of wondering where we were going to be is over. What a relief to know that Stephen got in his first year applying. It really would have been a bummer to have to wait around for another year. God is good! He knows us so well and is ready and willing to bless us accordingly. Thank goodness for that! I don't know what I would do without a relationship with Him.
